Entries submitted must be broadcast, published or released with client approval between January 1, 2019 - March 31, 2020. All non-English commercials must have English sub-titles.
Entries cannot be made without the permission of the client and/or owner of the rights of the work.
Entries submitted must be in the exact form it was broadcast, published or released. Work must not be altered for submission purposes.
Entries created solely for the purpose of entering this competition are not eligible.
Entries submitted cannot be returned. THE A-LIST AWARDS retains entries for supplemental presentations to educational institutions, advertising professionals and the public generally.
You may enter the same piece in multiple categories. There is an entry fee for each category you enter.
Entrants must use royalty-free or licensed music for case studies and presentation videos.
The entrant indemnifies THE A-LIST AWARDS of all costs that may be incurred from use of non-cleared music.
If requested by the Jury, the entrant will be required to provide evidence to prove eligibility of entry.
The person submitting this entry form(s) certifies that he or she has full authority to approve the rights granted herein.
Film Craft entries can be submitted as a MOV, MP4 or URL
Submitted work should not exceed 5 minutes. Work longer than 5 minutes should be edited down. Any work edited down should also provide URL of original full-length work.
URL should provide a description of the project and/or a translation. All elements should be clearly visible on the landing page. Include any required user names and/or passwords.
Campaigns - entrants must provide either a video or written case study of their campaign. Video case studies must not exceed 5 minutes. This submission will give the Jury an overview of the submitted work and allow them to study the entries with greater detail. Submissions must be in English or with English subtitles. No agency branding, logos, or credits.
The A-List Hollywood FILM CRAFT AWARDS - The first event of its kind in Hollywood, the entertainment capital, to focus on the commercial advertising production and post production industry.
Awards are presented in Best Direction, Best Production, Best Editing, Best Visual Effects and more than a dozen other categories. The event also includes a New Directors Showcase featuring the work of the industry’s most promising young talent.
Judging will be done by a diverse group of worldwide industry experts from the advertising industries, including directors, creative directors and producers from around the world in some of the industry’s most successful commercial production companies.
THE A-LIST AWARDS strive to be a truly global awards by recognizing work from foreign countries by taking into account each cultures unique communication. Additional categories can be entered base on country or region. If entry is submitted in a related category base on country or region, judges will also factor in culture and communication. So depending on which categories were entered a trophy could be awarded in a category representing the best from that region of the world.
If any category entries do not meet the standard deemed award worthy by the judges, it’s possible that there will be no awards given in that category. Equally, if in any category an entry meets the silver standard but not the gold standard, it is possible that there will only be a silver award given in a category.
